Client
Adsthetics is a performance marketing agency. I work there freelance, across several clients. The work is strategy, planning and creative: cleaning up ad accounts, setting keywords and audiences, steering budgets and making ads that sell. This case is one of them: Med School Entry, interview preparation for medicine and dentistry in the UK.
Starting point
- July was the test phase: one first purchase, then a UCAT/WhatsApp test with cheap traffic and a weak conversion.
- The account was not built for sales. Website purchases, lead forms and a webinar were joined into one conversion structure.
Approach
In this work, design is often a matter of taste. What matters is what the data shows. Every creative and every audience starts as a hypothesis and is tested on as little budget as possible before more money goes in.
- Clean up the accounts: structure campaigns, ad sets and tracking in Meta Ads and Google Ads.
- Keywords and audiences: choose them so as little budget as possible lands with people who will not buy.
- Strategy and planning: give each offer one job, sale, lead or webinar, and split the budget accordingly.
- Test on a small budget: run creatives against each other and switch off the weak ones early.
- Scale on purchase value: raise the budget only once sales justify the spend.
Delivery
- Account care: cleaning up and running Meta Ads and Google Ads, including the pixel and conversion tracking.
- Steering: budget scaled with performance. The website campaign ended at £70 a day.
- Asana: projects and clients run in Asana, from the brief to approval.
- Ads: creatives for several clients, here Med School Entry, The Arts Centre Hounslow and Green Gardening.
